Krishna Janmaastami celebrations at school

Few days back we celebrated Krishna Janmastami at school - it’s a festival we celebrate every year with our children.

There was a very festive look in the school with the decorations and the cradle (Tottilu) set up with the help of the children.

There were many performances by the children for their schoolmates and the younger kids experienced the rocking of Krishna's cradle and churning milk for butter.

It was concluded by the pyramid formation by classes of upper grades for getting to the prized pot - it is a tradition we do each year and the children have heaps of fun forming it.
